SaMel Tanz has recruited all female cast ranging from the ages of 16 to 28, and the issues raised during the show are far from foreign to the members and are actually discussed on the daily. The show was created not to show that we have all the answers, but to raise awareness to the complexity of feminism. We want our audiences to walk away knowing that the upward climb for “fair, equal and just” affects all aspects of our lives. AND although at times we may feel defeated, there is a community that lives that is dedicated to the fight for equality and we must believe and value ourselves in order to survive.
